YouthDay NOLA: January Event

Date: Saturday, January 24th
Hunters Field Playground - 1659 N. Claiborne New Orleans, LA 70116

What is YouthDay?

YouthDay NOLA, a program of Sisters on a Struggle, is a monthly community event bringing kids, families, and neighbors together for fun, connection, and giving back. Each month features a new theme, location, and activities—like music, games, food, bounce houses, art, and giveaways—while also highlighting ways to support and uplift our community. From back-to-school celebrations to holiday drives, YouthDay NOLA is all about creating safe, joyful spaces where young people can learn, play, and thrive.

🖌️ This Month’s Theme: Art & Paint Party

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (K-20) and the Back-to-School season, Youth Day NOLA invites children and families to create, connect, and celebrate community through art.

Kids will receive free art supplies to paint or draw what “community” means to them.
